UPDATED 5/30/05 - I've been collecting all kinds of Simpsons crap for years, so when the World of Springfield line came along, it was a no brainer.  This is another line in which I'm a completist, and have an entire carded/boxed collection, along with an entire loose collection.  I also have a fair share of unique pre-production items, which you'll see mixed in on the shelves.  You're also going to see a lot of other Simpsons stuff, but it's only a small part of the overall Simpsons collection, which could be a room itself.  I've had to box most of it - til someday.

This first shot shows a variety of WOS figures, including a custom Howard Hughes Burns and Bigfoot Homer.

Next shelf down the WOS continues with various playsets and figures, but there are also quite a few of the Hamilton statues of the Misadventures of Homer.  I've stayed away from most of the Hamilton stuff, since I simply don't have the room.

Sometimes, other cartoon characters get mixed in, and on this shelf you'll see the King of the Hill figures hanging out with WOS.  It looks like Luann might have a problem...

The bottom shelf of this bookcase has a handful of WOS items, and a bunch of other stuff, including the Krusty Burger sponge.

You knew Main Street was in there someplace, and it takes up a shelf and a half all by itself.  There's a variety of other stuff in there of course, including a custom Homer head in front of Hawking.

This shelf sports a couple carded WOS figures from series 1 to show the style, along with a couple of the carded Mattel figures from the 90's.  The Mattel line is on this shelf I think, along with a huge variety of small figures from different candy companies, PVC's, ornaments, and even the watch case from the Fossil watch.

On this shelf we have another of my favorite Simpsons collectibles - the pewter bar tools.  The full set is on the left.  There's also lots of older items.

This bottom shelf has the 9" figures from WOS, the Homer car model, along with some other stuff.

Back up to the top of the next book case, and it's all WOS.  The THOH sets are among my favorites, and all four are here.

More stuff - I believe the sign in back was from the button promotion at Hot Topic.

Below those are a lot of Sideshow stuff, so we're already back up to the top again.  Nothing super exciting, although that is a Voluxameter (or whatever it's called) in the center.

Below that are the short lived re-issued sets, along with some general WOS, more Misadventures of Homer, and even the little gumball figures.

We're getting back into more general Simpsons stuff and less WOS again on this shelf.  There's the metal tin for another Fossil watch in back.

Another bottom shelf, with general stuff.  I particularly like the figural lollypop holders.

Back up to the next top shelf, almost done.  You'll notice a couple customs here again, including the funny looking Homer sculpt on the Pin Pal version to the left.  There's also the boxed pre-production Be Sharps Apu to the right.

Finally, the last Simpsons shelf - right now.  Here's some more WOS, the various smaller PVC sets that Playmates did, and a couple of the airplanes.

I pulled these off one of the shelves to see how much info I could get.  I picked this set up at Toy Fair a few years ago.  They are little cardboard punch out sets that create different figures, and were intended as cereal or other type promotions.  They were trying to get the idea picked up by somebody at Toy Fair, but I have no idea if they were ever produced.  Anyone ever find these in their morning breakfast, either in the U.S. or internationally?

Somehow I managed to forget some things in other parts of the house in my first pass through - here's a couple signs from down behind the bar.  Actually, one is a mirror and one is a clock:

Also behind the bar is the complete set of Simpsons mini-busts from Sideshow...

And last, but certainly not least, is the nifty lava lamp from NECA.  I actually own two of these, one at home and one at work.  The one at work is perhaps my greatest clearance purchase ever, as I picked it up on sale at Media Play for...a $1.88.
